We serve three main functions; awareness, advocacy, and action which are described in greater detail in our mission statement.

Our office sits on several University Committees; the Human Rights Advisory Group (HRAG) which advises the University on issues relating to the campus human rights policy; and Students Against Sweatshops, a committee which meets to discuss ethical purchasing by the University.

We provide advocacy and support to the campus community. We also hold human rights related events throughout the year, to raise awareness and get people involved.
